It’s no secret that I love shopping. I’ve basically made it my job. So sneaky how I did that, right Nathan?? I grew up going to the mall, specifically Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw, GA. I remember that was always the place my sister and I went for back to school, Christmas outfits or just anytime we needed new clothes. That tradition of outfitting the family at Town Center at Cobb has continued with my own family now. I can take the kids there and find anything we need for any occasion in life. Most recently, I got Kenzie the dress that she wore to Santa at the new H&M (see photos below). Town Center has a completely revamped, huge, H&M. They carry kid’s now and the Men’s section is massive. I could literally get something for everyone in my family there, including the dogs.
If you’re a 90’s kid like me you lived for Bath & Body Works. Well, it’s there and it’s still got every wonderful scent you could imagine. I mean, do we remember Plumeria?! So. Good. This time of year it just smells like Christmas in there, and if that doesn’t make you happy then I don’t know what will. Kenzie was obsessed with every lotion or cream in the entire store and even found a unicorn back massager that she needed.
The kids also got to see Santa and, if you’re a parent, you know how much of a nightmare this can potentially be. At Town Center at Cobb they let you make appointments. And these aren’t the kinds of appointments you have to make in July either. We walked right up, no wait, and Santa actually spent time with the kids. We weren’t rushed, the kids had fun, and I wanted to cry happy tears seeing just how happy they were. I can’t say enough about Santa here and how great he was with the kids. Also, the pictures are reasonably priced which, again if you’re a parent, you know isn’t the norm. I got to select the pictures on a computer, crop them how I liked and then they were printed in a just a few minutes!
We also shopped around at some of my favorites, including Abercrombie (adult and kids!), American Eagle, Sephora (which is basically Kenzie’s favorite place EVER) and we, of course, had to make a stop at the Disney Store. Oh, and can we talk about mall cookies for a minute? I mean, I don’t know what Great American Cookie Company does to those cookies but they are made of magic, I’m convinced. The kids have to get one every time we’re at the mall.
The mall is just the best this time of year. Town Center at Cobb also has a ton of awesome events coming, so I’ve linked them all here! I hope you guys get to go experience all the Christmas magic for yourself at Town Center at Cobb too!
