I went to the mothership (aka Perimeter Mall) and scoped out the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yesterday. I got the lowdown on some of the on-sale items and HOLY MOLY THERE’S SOME GOODIES! Let’s get right to it.
Sweaters: I found a ton of sweaters I just love. I’ll break it down by the different brands.
BP: This brand seems to always be the most reasonably priced. Last year I bought numerous cardigans that were from BP. A few of my favorites from the sale this year are the textured stitch V-neck sweater. They come in 6 colors and are $25. The open-hooded cardigan comes in multiple colors and is only $45. The BP. Stripe Pullover is another great option for under $35. I also showed the twist front sweater on stories yesterday — it’s so cute and only $31.
Topshop: Topshop has so many fun options during this sale. The colors are great, they’re fun and they would all be so cute with some Topshop high waist jeans! I’m so excited about the bold, chunky colorblock knit sweater. It’ll definitely be a top priority for me, especially at $44, yesssss! This rainbow stripe sweater is adorable and just $29. The Topshop long open front cardigan is perfectly cozy and only $49!
Ok, so here’s a couple more random favorites. I am obsessed with the Madewell Ryder Cardigan and was so mad at myself for not getting it last year. I won’t make that mistake this year. Get this cardigan, it’s the best and it’s $64. This Thread & Supply Wubbly Pullover was super popular last Fall/Winter and you’re basically wearing a teddy bear for $50 (winning). The Caslon hi-low V-neck striped sweater is only $37! Another great Caslon option is the hooded cardigan cause hello, it’s got a hood and it’s $52.
Sorry, still going…here’s a few more. The Halogen Long Open Front Cardigan is offered in a couple colors and it’s under $60! The Leith Boxy Cardigan is another great option for a Fall transition outfit and it’s only $43, such a good deal. I also showed the next one on Instastories because it was so popular last year. The Leith Ribbed Shawl Cocoon Shawl collar sweater will probably be a huge seller again this year, especially at $45.
I could go on for a long time with sweaters if you couldn’t tell. I love comfy, cozy sweaters when it’s cold out, and there are so many amazing options! Here’s a link to all the Anniversary Sale sweaters.
Boots/Booties: You guys. There are so many good boot and bootie options during this sale. My favorite purchases from last year’s sale were the Vince Camuto heeled booties I picked up. They have an updated version of them this year and they are $99. The most popular Vince Camuto bootie from the sale is back with an update also and they’re $99. These will sell out for sure, they did last year and history is destined to repeat itself. Vince Camuto also has some great knee-high boot options like the Kochelda boot for $159.
Another one of my favorite purchases from last year was a more casual BP. bootie. Lucky us — there’s a couple of great BP. options this year too. The Brice ankle bootie is my favorite and is $79. Another option from BP. is the Kerry bootie and is $69.
Sam Edelman also has some great boot and boot options including the Caprice Knee-High boots which I did not buy last year and I regretted so these will be mine this year.
Denim: As I wrote in my initial Nordstrom post, Articles of Society jeans are a great option when it comes to quality, inexpensive jeans. There are a few options from AOS that are all around $40. Here’s a couple of my favorites: the Sarah Skinny jean and the Heather jean.
KUT From the Kloth is another reasonably priced denim brand that’s included in the Anniversary sale. They have so many different washes to choose from! They were priced under $60 and a few of my favorites are The Donna Denim and the Reese Denim.
The most popular denim during the sale is the AG Prima Skinny. This jean sells out every single year, without fail. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t normally spend $140 on jeans. But when they’re going to shoot up to $215 after the sale, I definitely contemplate it. These will sell out, so if they’re on your radar, jump on ’em quick, because they won’t last long.
The Free People high-rise busted knee jeans are so cute but they do run small, so just keep that in mind when ordering! I’ll for sure be buying the Madewell Cali Demi bootcut jeans (I love Madwell jeans). Shocking, I know.
There are also a ton of other designer options included in the sale that I’ve linked here.
Basics: There’s a ton of “basic” options and by that I just mean solid color, great layering pieces or even things that would be great worn alone. The Free People January tee is a great option coming in around $30. Socialite has some great basic options like the Thermal Henley and the Cinch Neck Tank. A great basic and very popular cami option is the WAYF Lace Up Ruffle Cami.
The Caslon Varsity Stripe tee is an adorable option for something that is a little different. BP. is coming in strong with some inexpensive basics including the Raw Edge V Neck and the Twist Front Tee. Lush has some great inexpensive basics as well including this super soft $18 tank and this long sleeve tee.
Leather Jackets/Jackets/Outerwear: Lilac and lavender have been hugely popular and it seems like that’ll stay around for Fall and Winter, yay! This Halogen Boucle Coat in lavender is so adorable and is a steal at $130. If you saw my instastory yesterday, then you saw me cover some leather options. The sale is a fantastic time to invest in a great leather jacket. I’ve had my favorite leather jacket for over 8 years and I still wear it constantly. I love the Trouve Draped front leather jacket that’s $199. I also love Andrew Marc for $240, the option I showed on stories yesterday, and it’s over $200 off.
There are some great heavy coat options and, since Georgia decided to become Antarctica last Winter, it may just be time for a parka. The North Face Gotham Jacket is a great down option and it’s so warm and cozy. Also, it’s over $100 off which never happens with North Face. Another great heavy weight option for a more dressy occasion is the Sam Edelman Walker Faux fur coat for $170. It’s mega adorable!
There are some great lightweight options that are perfect for Fall too! The Madewell Oversize Denim jacket is perfect for transitioning to Fall and it’s over $50 off, yay! My Madewell addiction is real, and it’s never on sale, so grab it while you can. There’s an adorable corduroy blazer from Chelsea 28 in a rust color that’s just amazing! It has beautiful buttons and a great shape. I think this one will be so flattering on anybody! Also, at only $65 so it’s also a win.
Ok the last category I’ll cover before I completely overwhelm you all and stress everyone out is….sunglasses!
Sunglasses: Two of my favorite brands that are never on sale are on sale, yay! Ray-Ban has some super cute options including the very popular round style and they are polarized! Another one of my favorite brand is DIFF and they also never go on sale! The Skye Polarized will for sure be coming home with me since they are polarized and only $56!
I could honestly go on for days about this sale and I’ll have more posts coming in the upcoming days. This is just a list of things that I know will sell quickly! So happy Nordstrom Anniversary Day!
